🌪️ This Week In Tornado History
November 25, 1883 - Wisconsin: A possible F3 tornado moved five miles through portions of Crawford County, WI. Near Bridgeport, a woman was killed in her leveled farm house.
November 26, 2001 - Tennessee: This F3 hit late in the night in Henry County, TN, southeast of Paris and moved northeast five miles ending near Oakland. Ten homes and buildings were destroyed, 46 others were damaged. There were two fatalities.

November 27, 1934 - Arkansas: A possible F2 moved northeast through Desha County, AR. Two small homes were destroyed on the south edge of McGehee.
November 28, 1988 - North Carolina: This devastating F4 tornado began at 1am EST in Umstead National Park in the NW part of Raleigh. It ended almost two hours later, two miles NW of Jackson in Northampton County. It had an 83-mile track that was almost continuous. Overall, 426 residences and 78 businesses were destroyed. Over 2000 residences were damaged. There were 154 injuries and 4 fatalities.

November 29, 2010 - Louisiana: An EF4 tornado hit near Atlanta, LA on this day. It completely destroyed a large, well-built two-story house. A mobile home was thrown 300 yards into a wooded area and destroyed.
November 30, 2018 - Oklahoma: An EF2 tornado tracked for 47 miles across Sequoyah, Cherokee, Adair, and Delaware Counties in eastern Oklahoma. Five people were injured as dozens of homes, cabins, and trailers were ripped apart. Extensive tree damage also occurred along the path.
December 1, 2018 - Illinois: On this day, a regional outbreak unfolded across Illinois, resulting in 29 total tornadoes in the late afternoon and evening hours. Of the twisters that occurred, one was rated EF3. It struck Taylorville, IL, with the most intense damage being southwest of the city in the unincorporated community of Hewittsville.
